SUMMARY:
Set in our world, spanning the near to distant futures, Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful is a novel made up of six interconnected stories that ask how far we will go to remake ourselves into the perfect human specimens, and how hard that will push the definition of "human."
This extraordinary work explores the amazing possibilities of genetic manipulation and life extension, as well as the ethical quandaries that will arise with these advances. The results range from the heavenly to the monstrous. Deeply thoughtful, poignant, horrifying, and action-packed, Arwen Elys Dayton's Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful is groundbreaking in both form and substance.
REVIEW:
A work of unforgettable vision and imagination. This book is everything I love about science fiction." - Jay Kristoff, New York Times bestselling coauthor of the Illuminae Files
AMAZING!
I really don’t have any other words for this book.
Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful is a though provoking book. As the story spans over hundreds of year and it shows the evolution of humanity. Which is exciting and terrifying to read. I think is funny how our vision of the future has changed, before it was flying cars and amazing discoveries and now is always a bit terrifying.
This book is a series of stories. Each can be read as a stand-alone, but they also go so well together. Is the story of the first vaccination, first clone, etc . I really enjoyed every single story, and what amazed me the most was the journey the author took me with each story because it felt so real.
It really reminded me of Black Mirror and gave me all the chills, this book is truly an adventure.
